红线女旧居座落于享有“中国华侨第一村”之称的广州市越秀区华侨新村。粤剧艺术大师红线女于1955年底从香港回到祖国大陆，1957年起居住于此直至离世。1998年该主体建筑重建；2015年8月成为红线女艺术中心的重要组成部分，同年年底旧居正式对外开放。

    The Former Residence of Hongxian Nv is located in Huaqiao New Residential Quarter of Yuexiu District of Guangzhou city which is said to be “the first residential quarter for overseas Chinese.” In the end of 1955, Hongxian Nv, the Cantonese Opera master came back to the mainland of China from Hong Kong and had been living here since 1957. In 1998, the main structure of the building was reconstructed and in August 2015 it became officially an important part of Hongxian Nv Art Center and began to be open to the public.

    红线女旧居由一栋米白色外墙、粉红屋檐的假三层洋楼和独立花园组成。现按主人生前原貌布置，由客厅、练功室、书房、主卧、衣帽间、画室等组成，是主人接待宾朋、工作、生活的地方。这里花园四季常青，玉兰、桂花等花木多为主人亲手栽植，园中鱼池碧水锦鳞，青苔小径上曾留下了红线女的足迹。半个多世纪以来，这座小院见证了艺术大师大半生的生命历程和粤剧艺术的风风雨雨。

    The Former Residence of Hongxian Nv consists of a garden and a quasi-three-storey western style building with beige outer walls and pink eaves. Fixed up according to the original layout when its owner was living here, the former residence, where Hongxian Nv was working, living and receiving the guests, is composed of a living room, a dance studio, a study, a master bedroom, a cloakroom, and an art studio. The garden which remains green throughout the year is full of beautiful flowers such as magnolia and osmanthus, most of which were planted by Hongxian Nv. Some colorful koi are still swimming in the pond, and the trails around on which Hongxian Nv walked are overgrown with moss. For more than half a century, the garden house has witnessed the life journey of the great artist, and the ups and downs of Cantonese Opera as well.
